Each year I set up a sweat shop in my kitchen and utilize some child labor to get my Christmas cards made. In other words, I make my cards with my children. I am still working on this year’s version (I’m feeling a bit behind), but I’ll share one from a few year’s past. This was one of my two favorites.
The idea is from this website, Bethany Actually. You need some tin foil, glue, tissue paper, glitter, and sequins. I stripped the kids down and set them to work glueing tissue paper to the tin foil. When that was done, I brushed glue over the top and sprinkled on silver glitter.
When dry, I cut the tree shapes with pinking sheers and glued them onto card bases. We added sequin ornament and a star shaped sequin for the tree topper.
